Its unique, patented design incorporates advanced features. Aggressive side serrations seamlessly extend the slide’s grip surface onto the optic body. The TCF (Tactical Concave Face) design enables slide manipulation via the optic without contacting the glass, facilitating one-handed racking against a surface like a belt. A motion sensor conserves battery life by deactivating the optic when not in use, while a light sensor automatically adjusts the 3 MOA red dot’s brightness to ambient lighting conditions. The 3 MOA dot size is optimized for urban environments. The MECANIK MO1 also co-witnesses with iron sights.
