H&K VP9L Features
In development for more than four years, the VP9 is the latest Heckler & Koch handgun and the first striker fired HK since the renowned P7 series pistols were introduced in the 1980s. The VP9L is well-suited for civilian sport shooting, security, military, and law enforcement use. The new VP9 OR (Optics Ready) pistol has updated the venerable VP9 platform to support micro red dot sights for improved target acquisition.
The H&K VP9L integrates a striker firing system with an enhanced, HK “light pull” trigger. HK’s cold hammer-forged barrel made from cannon grade steel with a polygonal bore profile, molded finger grooves, an extended Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail molded into its polymer frame for mounting lights and accessories. Slide releases are present on both sides of the frame and the button style magazine release. HK VP9L pistols use proven HK P30 steel magazines. Includes two additional backstraps and two additional sets of lateral grip plates.
